NOTICE OF YOUR FINANCIAL PRIVACY RIGHTS UNDER THE FEDERAL GRAMM-LEACH-BLILEY ACT

Protecting your privacy is important to First Security Mortgage Corporation (“we”, “our” and “us” in this notice).  We are committed to providing you, our valued customer, with exceptional products and services. To do this, we rely on, and sometimes share with other parties, information about you. We want you to understand what information we collect, how we share it, and the steps we take to protect it.  If you share your account relationship with someone else (for example, a co-borrower), we suggest that you share this information with that person to ensure that each of you is aware of our policy.

Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories, mortgage recording offices, or other government records.

THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees or agents who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Employees who fail to follow our established standards are subject to disciplinary action. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, telephone number, social security number, date of birth, debts, assets, income and employment;  Information obtained through your transactions and relationships with us or others, such as your income, account balance and payment history; Information from consumer reporting agencies, such as your account and payment history with other lenders.

THE INFORMATION THAT WE DISCLOSE

We may disclose information we receive from you on applications or other forms (such as your name, address, and telephone number) and information about your transactions with us or others (such as your account balance, payment history parties to transactions) to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law (for example, to a third party who might insure your loan or buy your loan from us, to respond to a lawful subpoena, or at your direction).
