Mark A. Alexander was born on June 30, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the oldest of three brothers and the son of a Cleveland Police Officer. He grew up in the City of North Olmsted, attending the North Olmsted Schools and graduating from North Olmsted Senior High in 1984. During his high school years, Mark actively participated in various sports including football, hockey, soccer and wrestling.
After graduating from high school, he attended Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University. He was employed during this time with Turner Construction as a Field Engineer. He then began a successful career as a sales representative for the RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company where he was employed for nine years. Because of his vast experience in the sales field, he decided to pursue a career with First Security Mortgage Corporation as a Loan Officer in the mortgage industry. What Mark enjoys most about his job is working with his clients to achieve “the American Dream” of homeownership. He specializes in assisting “first-time homebuyers” by possessing solid knowledge of numerous FHA, VA, and conventional loan programs, as well as approved down payment “gift” programs.
Mark is a sports fanatic and is especially a true “die hard” Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoys Arabian Horses with his wife of 14 years, Melanie, who is also a Loan Officer and owner of First Security Mortgage Corporation. Most importantly, he is the proud father of three beautiful girls.
Mark is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) and a member of the Lorain County Board of Realtors (LOCAR).
Mark is available for Pre-Approval Consultations by appointment including evenings and on weekends to accommodate today’s busy schedules.
